Story

The Mosaïque is a set of six handcrafted mother-of-pearl coasters (10 cm diameter) featuring an intricate dot pattern in cool blue and grey tones. Named for its mosaic design, each piece reflects light with an understated, elegant shimmer.

Handcrafted in Chương Mỹ, Hanoi, every coaster is assembled by hand using individually cut shell fragments arranged into a seamless, continuous motif set within a white base. The subtle color variations are accentuated by the ocean shell itself, ensuring every set is uniquely your own.

Accompanied by a matching inlaid holder, this complete set makes an exceptional housewarming or holiday gift.

Care Instructions

Mother of pearl inlay asks little, and gives back a great deal.

  • Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth after use.
  • A damp glass or cup is fine — just avoid letting condensation or spills sit for extended periods, and wipe dry after use.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with acidic substances like lemon juice or vinegar.
  • Do not place in a dishwasher or submerge in water.
  • Keep away from direct, sustained heat sources.

The surface will develop a subtle patina with use — this is natural and desirable, not a defect.

The Mosaïque in Your Home

Six coasters named after light, kept together in a holder that matches the pattern. A gift that outlasts the occasion.

  • The Clear Coffee Table — six coasters in their holder, left out as a small object with significant presence.
  • The Housewarming Gift — boxed and complete, holder included. One of the most thoughtful gifts in the collection for a new home.
  • The Dining Table Set — six coasters, holder close by, for a table of six. The kind of detail that guests notice and ask about.
